CHIP Home Improvement Grants

The City of Greensboro has an active program of using Community Housing Investment Program (CHIP) funds to assist homeowners with housing rehabilitation. Eligibility is determined based on household income, location, and need.  In addition, funds are targeted to sub-standard housing units located within Census Tract 9503.03, Mill Village Area.

A total of $900.000 in CHIP funding has been received by the city since 2014. These funds have been used to help high-need homeowners make the needed repairs to their homes.
